About Jim Bob

JIm Bob and his wife Julie live in a rural community in North Texas with their three horses, three dogs, three cats and an assortment of box turtles.  All of Jim Bob and Julie’s kids have grown up and they have spawned 11 grandchildren.  With the exception of his oldest daughter, who describes herself as an “Independent Moderate” all of Jim Bob’s kids enthusiasticly vote for the correct candidates in every election.  Jim Bob has a sister who is an over-the-edge liberal and probably beyond hope.  Jim Bob and his sister do not discuss politics.

Born in 1942, Jim Bob is a ‘seasoned citizen’.  JIm Bob says he is semi-retired but continues to work in a number of capacities.  Jim Bob is a graduate of Texas Christian University in 1964, served as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam war.  Jim Bob started three successful businesses from scratch during the first two decades of his business career, selling them in 1987 to form a consulting firm.
