Can Obama Fire ME?

Dear Jim Bob,

 

I notice that the President is now firing people who work for private companies.  Jim Bob, how many other people do you think President Obama will fire?  Do you think he might fire me?  I thought all I had to worry about was my boss! I actually voted for Obama because I felt like we needed some change, but I never expected anything like this. I’m worried Jim Bob!

Dear Timothy,

 

Well, now we are getting down to the nitty gritty aren’t we?  Timothy, let me ask you a question about your vote for Mr. Obama.  Did you not understand that he was the most liberal candidate who has ever run for the Presidency?  Do you not understand what liberals do and how they think?  Let me make it real simple Timothy.  Liberals don’t think you have enough sense to come out of the rain without their help.  So they are dedicated to spending whatever it takes to help you live your life like they think you need to live it.  What that translates into is more and more regulation of the private lives of all of us.

 

When you understand that liberals are addicted to living their lives out through the control of others, it’s easy to understand the path we are trodding for at least the next two years and maybe longer.  I mean, they control Congress, the Presidency and have lots of Federal Judges on their side who agree with them.  Somebody once said, “Elections have consequences”.  I think we are going to get a good lesson about this shoved up our noses in the years ahead.
